What to compare

- At the dose the maker states, usually 30 or 40 mJ/cm²; size to peak household flow.
- Water quality limits
- Most need iron under 0.3 mg/L, hardness under 7 gpg and a sediment pre-filter.
- Certification
- NSF/ANSI 55 Class A for disinfection claims, where the model holds it.
- Lamp life
- Usually replaced once a year; check the lamp and sleeve part numbers.
- Connection size
- Match the line it goes on.
