This policy covers softenandfilter.com, run by WickedPath LLC, a Florida company (“we”).
What we collect
- Orders: your name, billing and shipping addresses, email address, phone number and what you bought.
- Payments: card payments are handled by our payment processor. We see the card type and last four digits, never the full card number.
- Email: what you send to [email protected], including any water test results.
- Site use: pages viewed, device and browser type, and the general location of your IP address, through Google Analytics and our hosting logs.
How we use it
- To fill orders: we send your name, shipping address, phone number and the items to the manufacturer or distributor that ships them, and to the carrier.
- To email you about your order, its shipping and any return or warranty claim.
- To answer your questions.
- To work out which pages and products people use, so we can improve the site.
- To meet tax, accounting and fraud-prevention requirements.
We don’t sell your personal information or share it for advertising.
Cookies
The site uses cookies to keep your cart and account signed in, and Google Analytics cookies to count visits. You can block cookies in your browser; the cart and checkout need them to work.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for seven years for tax and accounting. Email is kept as long as it’s useful for answering you. You can ask us to delete anything we don’t have to keep.
Your choices
Email [email protected] to see, correct or delete your information, or to close your account. We may ask you to confirm the request from the email address on the order.
Children
The site is for adults buying for their homes. We don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Security
The site uses HTTPS, and order data is stored on servers we run, with access limited to the people who fill orders.
